Sand Hill Pool

Details: Sand Hill Scout Reservation has a top-notch junior Olympic size swimming pool complete with a 1-meter diving board and a bathhouse. The pool is used during summer camp for teaching swimming, lifesaving, BSA Lifeguard, snorkeling, and mile swims. The bathhouse includes three locker rooms; youth, adult, and aquatic staff. They all have toilets, showers, and changing areas. Any group can use the pool as long as there is a certified lifeguard (BSA, Red Cross) on deck and all the requirements of BSA Safe Swim Defenses are followed. Location: North of the dining hall. Fees: WCFC FOS Unit - $1 per day per person. BSA Scouting Groups - $1.50 per day per person. Non-Scouting Groups - Upon request. Note - Units must provide current BSA Lifeguard certification, Red Cross or YMCA equivalent required to open pool. Reservations: Through the West Central Florida Council Scout Office.
