Sand Hill Scout Reservation is over 1,212 acres of gentle rolling land, dotted with lakes, varied wildlife and vegetation, and other amenities that make this property great as a Scout Camp. Sand Hill is considered one of the best Scout camps in Florida and in the southeast. Sand Hill Scout Reservation belongs to the Tigers, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Varsity Scouts, and Venturers of the West Central Florida Council and is intended for their instruction and enjoyment. This website contains all of the resources needed to gain knowledge of the camp, and files needed to make a trip. |

Did you know Sand Hill is open year around for unit camping? It's true! Contact the council office at 391-3800 for information about reserving a spot. -------------------------------------------- The Sand Hill Site™ has recently been updated with some major changes. There are still more to come, but here is a recap on what you may or may not have noticed: Website sections and icons have been reorganized. The facilties section has undergone updates and new locations such as the administration building have been added, along with an interactive map. Website links have been confirmed and updated. New Google map items have been added to the map section. Sand Hill weather is now being powered by a Weather Channel application. Many natural landscape pictures have been placed in the online photogallery contained in the pictures sesction. A new calendar application is being used to publish Sand Hill availability and event information. The online shirt and patch collection has been caught up to date.
